Presedintele acestui partid Dl.Constantin Rotaru (proprietar de firme si proprietati imobiliare) a transformat Partidul Alianta Socialsita intr-o anexa a propriilor sale firme.

Press Release
The change of the name of Socialist Alliance Party from Romania into Romanian Communist Party is not sustained by an adequate ideological base.
The capitalist society is draw backing the greatest majority of the world population and act subtly and with perseverance for growing defeatism and intimidation of the people in order to not act united to replace the "dictatorship of capital" by "participatory democracy of the working people" able to build a society where no longer exists exploitation and poverty. The reality proved that the masses do not have a "common consciousness" they have only "the common interests." Just these "common interests" cause them to act for changes. But this changes must be of substance rather than form as expected to do on July 3, 2010, the Socialist Alliance Party of Romania by simply changing the name in the Romanian Communist Party without changing the programmatic documents of this party.
The President of the Socialist Alliance Party, Constantin Rotaru (companies and real estate owner) has turned into an annex of his own the Socialist Alliance Party. The Head Office of the Socialist Alliance Party from Bucharest became in time his companies Head Office and many of its employees were promoted on leading positions in the central organs of the party to make sure that they’ll support the promotion of Mr. Constantin Rotaru personal interests. There is thus a clear motivation for the president Constantin Rotaru to do not accept " the thesis of Romanian participatory socialism" (www.pspr.forumul-social.ro) although on his last speeches said that he is promoting the replacement of "direct democracy" by "participatory democracy" .
As seen in magazine "Panorama" issued in Moscow, during the discussions of Mr. Constantin Rotaru with the president of the Party of Communist from Republic of Moldavia, Vladimir Voronin, two weeks ago, Mr. Constantin Rotaru said he is a "democratic socialist " not what is in reality respectively a " representative democratic socialist “ who has nothing in common with "participatory democracy" and " the participatory democratic socialists" which among other things, are supporting the idea that "leadership functions into a socialist left party should be functions of executions and not functions of command” respectively that “ the parties presidents have to be elected from among members of the Nationals Committees not by congresses for not going out of the control of the collective leadership of these parties as happened in the former Romanian Communist Party.
By analyzing the international situation we see that in Poland since June 8, 2010 were banned communist symbols. Hungary passed a law in the same sense and Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia is passing through difficult times, although is the fourth political force in the Czech Republic.
At present the Socialist Alliance Party of Romania has not a clear ideological basis and an organizational structure on the territory capable to sustain with necessary arguments the change of party denomination. From this reasons some of the territorial organizations have opposed to the name change. The Socialist Alliance Party leadership with two days before the Congress debate has not yet submitted to the territorial organizations the materials which have to be approved and did not initiate a dialogue with left political forces and militant unions from the country in order to achieve converging points of views and actions. The delegates to the congress was informed that they’ll receive the materials for Congress debate only before the entrance on the Congress hole.
The acquisition by Alliance Socialist Party of the name of the Romanian Communist Party, at a time when the country pass through a deep economic crisis without promoting by his programmatic documents a proper ideological base adequate to the new party name and to the realities of our country, hoping that the unhappy people would prefer the "name of the party" instead of " a suitable ideological basis" capable to support their interests can compromise for a long period of time the idea of an communist party in Romania.
Deserve also noted that while the Party of Communist from Republic of Moldavia (which Mr. Constantin Rotaru visited in 2009 without taking a stand against the anti-Romanian position promoted through the so called "Moldavian language" instead of Romanian language and the attempt for registration in Romania of an antinational "Associations of Moldavians from Romania" and two weeks ago for "bilateral consultations” before the Congress) is interested ,at present, for changing the name of the communist party into the Party of Social Action from Republic of Moldavia, Mr. Constantin Rotaru came back from Chisinau more determined to change the name of Socialist Alliance Party into Romanian Communist Party.
On the frame of the Executive Committee of the European Left Party, where I acted as elected member from 2004 until December 2007 and in my correspondence with the communist, workers' and leftist socialist parties from worldwide starting from 2004, I have drawn attention to the fact that Romania is a laboratory where are tested different strategies for compromising and stopping the evolution of the left parties and I asked to organize joint actions in which analyzing our common past and present experience to find the most appropriate ways for counteracting the capitalist society actions for compromising the communist ideology grounded by Marx and implemented according to the concrete conditions from different countries by other important communist leaders. When I made this appeal I took into account the conclusion of Albert Einstein which told that “ we cannot solve the problems with the same methods with which we created ”.
As I said in many domestic and international circumstances "the solidarity appeared as a form of expression on Left area but unfortunately now is promoted with more efficiency in the right area .This is the reason for what we welcome the recent common actions of solidarity of the Greek Communist Party and Communist Party of Portugal held in Warsaw to support the right of existence in this country of a communist party. Unfortunately anticommunist laws will be extended in the near future in many countries in Europe and around the world and this will be possible to be counteracted only through a unitary and common approach of the Marxist theory through the positive results and gaps in the concrete practice of the period of the real socialism in Europe. Only through a such analysis, based by common conclusions and actions of the workers, communist and left socialist parties from all over the world will find ways to promote the Marxist theory in concordance with the exigencies of the evolution of human society in this Century as an objective necessity for changing current capitalist societies which is in a deep economic, social, political and moral crises and will be able to act together as " the working peoples" to become the driving force able to lead this change of political system.
The friendship and solidarity,
Constantin Cretu
President of the Founding Committee of the Romanian Participatory Socialism Party
